13th Mughal Emperor (28 February – 6 June 1719)
In office: 28 February 1719 – 6 June 1719
Rafi ud-Darajat was placed on the throne by the Sayyid brothers as a young, compliant puppet immediately after Farrukhsiyar's deposition, but was already seriously ill with tuberculosis and reigned for only about three months.
Rafi ud-Darajat's brief reign is remembered only as one of several short-lived puppet emperors installed and removed by the Sayyid brothers within a single turbulent year.
Died of tuberculosis in June 1719, only months after his accession.
